Coop145 Project Proposal
Project Overview
The Ontario Cooperative Association (OCA) is a provincial trade association for the 1500+ English speaking cooperative organizations across Ontario. During the summer of 2021, I worked with the board of directors at Studio 145 Cooperative (COOP145) on a grant proposal to secure $300000 for the cooperative’s upcoming projects, and real estate investment.
My team (Ricardo Hewitt (Operations Director), Dexray Robinson (Marketing Coordinator), and I worked together on an expansive document propositioning our goals as a business, but also as community leaders.

Our Proposal
Our proposal was for a purchase of our leased community incubator space, including the media equipment included in the lease. We propositioned for 25% of the building, as well as the cost of the equipment. The second half of our proposal covers our plans to expand our community education programs into bonified certification programs.
